Synopsis
Once upon a time there was a little daughter from a happy family who lived in a historic house in the middle of the forest. Her name is Ella. Cinderella lived happily with her family. Ella's father was a merchant, and always goes aboard for work. Cinderella lived well, and her parents love her very much.
One day, Ella's mother was sick. The sorrow was on Ella's family because Ella's mother died. Before Ella's mother died, she told Ella to be courage and be kind to others. Ella cried at the time.
After several months of the death of Ella's mother, Ella's father married Lady Tremaine who had two daughter Drizella and Anastasya. They became Ella's step sister. They had bad attitude to Ella.
Ella's father worked very hard. When he was on his way to work, he was ill and suddenly died. Ella was very sad after she heard it. Both Ella's parents had died. So Ella lived with her step mother and step sisters that they rude to Ella. They always ask Ella to do housework, such as cooking, washing, sweeping, mopping, and serving whatever they are ordered to do. Ella wasn't angry with that because she had a promise to be kind.
One day, the kingdom held a ball, where all women were allowed to attend. Ella was exited with that. But, her step mother didn't allow her to attend a ball because she said that Ella is ugly. But, Ella believed that she can be there. Suddenly a fairy mother came to Ella and help her to dress up with her magic. In the end, she went to the castle with nice carriage. Fairy mother said that Ella must leave the castle before more than 12 pm.
All people was focus on Ella. Ella was very beautiful, and Prince Kit asked Ella to dance with him. Ella wore blue dress and glass shoes that night. When it was 12 pm, Ella ran away from the castle and the prince chased her. One of Ella's glass shoes was off and was left in the castle. Fairy mother was true. Ella's look was back as before Fairy Mother changed it.
The next day, Prince Kit made a announcement that whoever has a foot that fits this glass shoe, he will marry her. All girls' foot did't fit the glass shoe. When Ella's turn, her foot fitted with the glass shoe. Prince Kit said "you are the one I want" . Then, Prince Kit married and brought Ella to the castle.
In the end, Ella left her rude step mother and sisters. Ella became a queen and lived happily with Prince Kit.
Review
I love this movie. I think children allowed to watch this. Because there's no adult scene here. This movie has many positive messages like kindness, courage, and inner beauty. This movie conveys a message that love and goodness can triumph over adversity and cruelty.
I also love the visuals in the movie, such as color, places in every scene, costumes, and gestures of the characters. I just like "wow" when I watched a scene that showed Cinderella house in the middle of forest. It's a beautiful view. This movie brings the feeling of the classic era. Even though I wasn't born in that era, but I love something that classic.
I love the scene when Ella met Prince Kit. I saw their first sight was amazing. Their action remains me the first time I met someone I know from online application ahahahaha. Okay just skip. This is a wonderful movie.
Things I don't feel satisfy about this movie are the death of Ella's father and life of Lady Tremaine after Ella left her.
When Ella's father died, why don't director show the scene of Ella's father's body was brought home. if it were shown in the scene, it would be more dramatic. Without this scene, it seems as if the narrator is rushing to continue the story.
Then about Lady Tremaine's life after Ella left her, I think it should be shown in the movie. Maybe some viewers like me want to see how miserable her life was, and how poor she was. I think these weren't satisfy.
Cinderella is a good story. It's old but it's gold. This movie "Cinderella" successfully captures the timeless and universal appeal of the Cinderella story, making it enjoyable for audiences of all ages.
